Still haven’t registered to vote? Read this

Updated: Oct 16

Yes, you can still register to vote!

Most state deadlines are in October, and it only takes a couple of minutes. You can check your registration status here online in just a few easy clicks. Many states in the country have expanded voting access by adding a vote-by-mail option. The majority of states have several options available to vote, including early voting, voting by mail, and, of course, in person voting.

If you are planning to vote by mail, request your absentee ballot now.

In most states, absentee ballots need to be received by November third, and you can track the progress of your absentee ballot online using the systems set up. In some states, you can vote remotely without using a mailbox to implement social distancing guidelines and stop the spread of the virus. Instead of mailing your ballot, you can also hand-deliver it by dropping your ballot off at a local politician's office or your local polling place.

∙ Plan ahead and avoid busy times

∙ Bring multiple forms of identification

∙ Wear a mask
