Be flexible
Be as accommodating as possible to the interviewer's schedule. It's a great way to make an excellent first impression and appear adaptable in any situation. When scheduling an interview, choose a time and date that best serves both you and the company.
Update your resume
Always have your current, up-to-date resume in a file on your computer, as well as a neatly printed out copy that is ready to go whenever you may unexpectedly need it.
Arrive early
Traffic delays are beyond your control, so you will want to add in some extra time when commuting to your Interview. Get there early, but don't go in early.
Know where you're going
Be sure that you search your interview location the day before on Google Maps or a GPS. Ensure you know exactly where you're going, how to get there, how long the commute will be, and what the building procedures are to avoid getting lost and running late.
Research the company
One important thing you can do to prepare for an interview is to do some extensive research on the company you're applying to beforehand.
Dress to impress
Pick out a suitable outfit to wear to an interview the night before and try it on. Ensure you feel comfortable while wearing it and appropriate for the type of job you're applying for.
Ask questions
When asked if you have any follow-up questions, don't just sit there and shake your head and say no. Ask questions.
